About ElderWise
| |
ElderWise seeks out qualified persons to train and work, teaching them a System of Caregiving that is based upon a depth of experience, professional knowledge, and intuitive understanding. We find individuals who are mature, educated, and interested in many things.
ElderWise is the only non-medical caregiving organization in Vermont that requires its caregivers to complete an intensive certification program of its own. Once certified, caregivers are qualified to work with clients and deal with important aspects of caregiving, including end of life stages and issues of family caregivers.
ElderWise caregivers work hard to optimize our clients' quality of life. They not only cook and clean, but also help the client to renew old interests, do interesting things, and connect with friends.

"Martha Miller has been a live-in-caregiver for me for over a year and I can truthfully say that she has been a life saver for me, and I could not have possibly survived without her. She is loyal, conscientious, honest, a good cook, and a good housekeeper. She is also a good companion and a formidable gin rummy player."
