Mission Statement

The mission of Rowan Court Health and Rehabilitation Center is to provide the finest quality health care, rehabilitative and support services to our residents and their families.

Overview of Services

Our care approach is patient-centered and involves an integrated program of therapies that address the total well- being of our patients. For each resident, we create an individual care plan and assemble a care team that may include specialists from several areas. The goal is to design a course of treatment and therapy that best meets the needs of the resident.

Long Term Care

Many of our residents stay with us for extended periods, especially those whose lives have been profoundly affected by accidents or illnesses such as emphysema, Alzheimer’s, heart disease and stroke. Not only do we offer the health care and physical therapy these patients require, we also provide a warm and friendly social environment — the ideal conditions for optimal living.

Short Term Care

Physical Therapy
Members of our physical therapy team work on helping our residents achieve maximum levels of physical mobility, strength, endurance, balance, coordination and general fitness.

Occupational Therapy
The occupational therapy team focuses on increasing, enhancing and adapting each patient’s task development skills to increase the level of independence and autonomy.

Speech and Language Therapy
Our speech and language professionals employ a wide variety of speech and language techniques to address speech and communication problems, as well as cognitive issues. Our speech therapists also assist individuals who are experiencing swallowing difficulties.

Respite Care

Respite care allows your elderly or disabled family member to spend time in a caring, comfortable environment staffed by health care professionals 24 hours a day. He or she will receive assistance with daily living activities, nutritious meals, and, if appropriate, opportunities for recreational activities.

Hospice Care

An integral part of our center’s mission is the compassionate care of persons who are terminally ill.

Rowan Court provides palliative and end-of-life hospice care. A comprehensive, individualized care plan is created for each resident, and the staff is trained to make this time as comfortable and peaceful as possible for your family. Families may also stay overnight and share meals with their loved ones at our center.
